Updated Seattle Seahawks defensive depth chart after Week 13 roster moves image

The Seattle Seahawks will hit the field at the VMAC later today for their first official practice of Week 13 as they prepare for Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets, who they'll be visiting for an early kickoff on Sunday.

Yesterday general manager John Schneider and the front office made some tweaks to the 53-man roster, making a couple of moves on defense. First, the team has claimed safety AJ Finley off waivers from the Los Angeles Chargers. To make room for him Seattle has waived defensive tackle Myles Adams, who will likely wind up back on the practice squad assuming he clears waivers.

Adding Finley could mean that one of the Seahawks' safeties got dinged up in Sunday's win over the Arizona Cardinals - we'll have to wait for the first injury report of the week to come out later today to find out who. For now, let's take a look at the Seahawks' defensive depth chart after Tuesday's moves.

Seahawks defensive depth chart - Week 13

DL: Leonard Williams, Johnathan Hankins, Byron Murphy II, Jarran Reed, Roy Robertson-Harris, Mike Morris

Seattle also announced a few moves to shake up the practice squad. Cornerback Ryan Cooper and wide receiver Cornell Powell have been signed. To make room for them on the practice squad the team waived cornerback Faion Hicks and running back Brittain Brown.
