The final day of the 2025 NFL draft is upon us and the Pittsburgh Steelers will add more new players after adding two prospects over the first two days.

In the first round, the Steelers selected Oregon defensive lineman Derrick Harmon, which took care of a major need for the defense. Then, the Steelers sprung for Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson in Round 3, which gives the team another option at a position that doesn't have a sure starter. Of course, the Steelers didn't have a second-rounder because of the DK Metcalf trade.

In what has been the biggest surprise of the draft thus far, the Steelers and every other team in the NFL has passed on Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders over the first three rounds, something nobody expected.

However, Day 3 is another day for Sanders, who shockingly remains on the board. We fully expect him to get drafted at some point, but when and by who remains to be seen. Given the fact that Pittsburgh hasn't drafted a quarterback, they remain a realistic possibility for the Colorado product.

Following along with our tracker below for all of the latest picks the Steelers make. We'll be providing grades and analysis for each selection as soon as they come.

Steelers NFL draft grades for Day 3

Round 4, Pick 123: EDGE Jack Sawyer, Ohio State — The Steelers didn't have an immediate need at edge rusher, but Sawyer was just clearly too good to pass up on in this spot. Sawyer was a great leader at Ohio State and is a better run defender than an edge rusher, but he should make an impact in that area (GRADE: B+).

Round 5, Pick 164 (from KC): DT Yahya Black, Iowa — After a trade back with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Steelers get another interior defender, which was a big need going into the draft. Black is a big man at 6-foot-5 and 336 pounds and he eats blocks for lunch. He may not offer much as a pass rusher, but he will be a plus run defender in a rotational role (GRADE: A).

Round 6, Pick 185 (from SEA): QB Will Howard, Ohio State — Finally, a quarterback! Howard won a national title with Ohio State last season, so he has a winning pedigree. Along with that, Howard has all the tools to be a successful NFL quarterback with a strong arm, accuracy and plus-athleticism. He offers a promising quarterback for the Steelers to develop for the future (GRADE: A).

Round 7, Pick 226 (from KC): LB Carson Bruener, Washington — Bruener is the son of former Steelers tight end Mark Bruener, so he has an NFL pedigree. He'll have a tough time contributing on defense at the next level, but Bruener could find a role as a special teams contributor, which is all you can ask for from a seventh-rounder (GRADE: B).

Round 7, Pick 229 (from PHI): CB Donte Kent, Central Michigan — Kent has a good blend of length and speed and can be an effective blitzer. He often takes too many risks in coverage and doesn't play with enough physicality. His ceiling is likely as a backup and special teams contributor (GRADE: C).
