The Dallas Cowboys have not added a wide receiver to pair with CeeDee Lamb this offseason. However, they could still sign one, even though options are limited.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Nick Harris noted that the Cowboys are interested in signing Amari Cooper. He spent four seasons with the Cowboys before the team traded him to the Cleveland Browns in 2022. Last season, the Browns traded him to the Buffalo Bills. He is now a free agent and Bleacher Report's Alex Kay predicted he will sign with the Cowboys.

"It remains to be seen how much Cooper has left in the tank going into his age-31 campaign," wrote Kay. "He had only 250 yards and two touchdowns on 24 receptions for the Cleveland Browns last season before being dealt to the Buffalo Bills at the trade deadline. He wasn't much better in Buffalo, finishing with 20 catches for 297 yards and two touchdowns in eight games.

"However, Cooper is only one season removed from the latest of his five career Pro Bowl nods, and he posted some of his best numbers while working with Dak Prescott in Dallas," Kay continued.

Cooper never found his footing with the Bills. However, he could be a great addition to the Cowboys. He and Lamb were once a great duo and he already has chemistry with Prescott. With Lamb establishing himself as one of the best players in the league, Cooper would not be carrying as big a load as his previous stint with the team.

Spotrac projects him to sign a two-year, $37 million deal. However, he would have to be willing to return to Dallas after they traded him in 2022.

"Team interest is one thing, but the appeal will have to be reciprocated by Cooper if the two sides do, in fact, connect over a second stint with the Cowboys," wrote Harris.
