Chris Tucker looked dapper while attending the 2025 Kentucky Derby over the weekend.
For the event, the actor walked the red carpet in a pair of the Louis Junior P Strass Eternity sneakers from Christian Louboutin, which retail for $1,495, and feature silver sequins on the toe cap. White laces accompany the silhouette, which sits atop of white leather upper. The sneakers are rounded out by a rubber outsole and a comfortable midsole—which is exactly what’s needed for a day of walking at the derby.
The "Rush Hour" actor paired his sneakers with a sleek dark navy blue two-piece suit from Steve McQueen, which he accessorized with a cross chain. He was also seen wearing a pair of the oversized square sunglasses from Kenbo. Suits and sneakers have been a very popular choice for male celebrities throughout the course of 2025 due to their comfort and versatility. And it was a great choice for the actor, who told Courier Journal he likes attending the Derby because he "likes the people."

"Steve McQueen…Steve McQueen," he told the publication when asked about his outfit. "It’s the festive stuff…I mean the dressing of the beautiful clothes," he explained when talking about his love for the derby. "The dressing up…the beautiful clothes…the beautiful hats, the people and Kentucky..and the race is fun, but I like the people."
Tucker also posted his outfit on Instagram with the caption, "The Kentucky Derby baby!!!"
