Following the success of this year's women’s Frozen Four, it’s time for the men to put on a pair of skates. The 2025 NCAA men’s hockey tournament is set, with the semifinals and finals to air on April 10 and 12.

The tournament, starting with four teams in 1948, has featured sixteen teams since 2003. It determines the top men’s team in Division I.  Each region (Northeast, East, Midwest, West) has four representatives, competing in multiple games until there is only one true champion.

Michigan won the first final of the Frozen Four. The program is second in all-time wins with nine. Last year, Denver won it all, beating Boston College for its leading tenth title. It marked their second win in three years.
