Caitlin Clark hasn't been seen on a basketball court since last WNBA season.
She's been around plenty of hoops, and now she's generating buzz for her new muscular appearance, but there's no telling exactly how she'll look on the court.
And the Indiana Fever released a bit of concerning news about Clark's chances of being on the court.
The Fever take on Washington in a preseason game on Saturday. And they've set Clark's status for the game as questionable.
According to the official injury report, Clark is dealing with a left-leg injury.

There's a bit of a mysterious vibe around this only because there's no way yet to know what the full scoop is.
Maybe Clark tweaked it in practice today. Maybe she hurt it earlier this offseason. Right now, it's an unknown.
She still has a couple weeks to get ready for the regular season, and there's likely nothing huge to be concerned about here.

But the WNBA would certainly prefer its generational rising star to be on the floor.
So would the Fever, given Clark and her team's aspiration to compete for a WNBA title this year.
