Shedeur Sanders predicted to fall to AFC North team in draft image

With the first round of the NFL Draft taking place on Thursday, a lot of questions are swirling regarding the quarterbacks. While Cam Ward is almost certainly going No. 1 overall, it remains to be seen what happens to the likes of Jaxson Dart, Jalen Milroe and Shedeur Sanders.

On Wednesday, ESPN's Peter Schrager dropped a new mock draft, although it isn't entirely promising to Sanders. The former Colorado QB has been linked to teams such as the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders, each of whom are in the top six.

In Schrager's mock, he had Sanders waiting a while before going to the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 21 overall.

"I know Sanders had a good meeting in Pittsburgh when he visited a few weeks back. I also know the Steelers still don't have a QB1 on their roster. This might be viewed as a "slip" down the board for Sanders. He could go anywhere from No. 3 to the Giants to the second round. Going to Pittsburgh here as the second quarterback in the class wouldn't be so bad."

Still, Schrager has Sanders as the second QB selected with Ward going first overall to the Tennessee Titans.

The Steelers are currently playing the waiting game with Aaron Rodgers, and they saw Russell Wilson go to the New York Giants and Justin Fields sign with the New York Jets, so there is no question Mike Tomlin's team needs a signal-caller.

Will it be Deion Sanders' son going to Pittsburgh? Only time will tell.
