Following Chelsea’s crucial 3-1 win over Liverpool on May 4, Blues star Cole Palmer heaped praise on teammate Moises Caicedo for his performance.
Despite playing out of position, Caicedo managed to put in a shift for the side at right-back, and Palmer was quick to laud his efforts after the game.
Speaking to Sky Sports at full-time, Palmer said: "Today I felt like myself, felt like I had before recent times. I felt confident, I was trying things - first time passes, playing forwards, playing free. And when you’ve got Caicedo next to you, it’s a dream.
"From the start of the season until now, I think he’s been our best player. He’s a machine. He wins everything back, always gives 100%, he’s humble, nice to everyone, and everyone loves him.”
Palmer is not the only Chelsea star who enjoys playing alongside Caicedo with Romeo Lavia also calling out the Ecuadorian for some love.
Lavia's return to fitness has moved Caicedo out of midfield but he will still playing a vital role in the campaign run-in.

Moises Caicedo has come into his own this season for Chelsea
Caicedo’s game has come on leaps and bounds for Chelsea this season with an ability to cover multiple positions and switch to new roles mid-game as needed by Enzo Maresca.
Caicedo might not be the kind of player to grab the headlines for the team, but his contributions in whichever position he plays are invaluable, and that will be crucial in the final weeks of 2024/25.
