The Las Vegas Raiders have made some big changes this offseason since finishing their 2024 campaign with a 4-13 record and in fourth place in the AFC West.

Not only did the Raiders replace head coach Antonio Pierce and general manager Tom Telesco with Pete Carroll and John Spytek, respectively, but they also swung a trade with the Seattle Seahawks, acquiring quarterback Geno Smith for a third-round pick.

While Las Vegas may have a better team on paper now than they did last year, there's still one big issue that could have a major impact on the team's performance in 2025, and that's offensive tackle Kolton Miller's contract situation. The former first-round pick is entering the final year of his rookie deal and is sitting out the voluntary portion of the team's offseason program for an extension.

At this point, it's unclear exactly how the Raiders will address this problem, but there's a chance that they start preparing for the future at left tackle in this week's draft. In fact, ESPN's Adam Schefter recently linked Las Vegas to offensive tackle Armand Membou in the first round.

Membou, 21, played high school football at Lee's Summit North High School in Lee's Summit, Missouri, before committing to the University of Missouri for the 2022 season. Over the last three years, he played in 35 games, started 29 at right tackle and earned Second-team All-SEC honors in 2024.

Entering the offseason, Membou was originally seen as a fringe first-round pick, but he's garnered a lot of attention in recent months, to the point that he's being mentioned as a top-10 pick by some of the biggest analysts that the sport has to offer.

Las Vegas may be able to part with Miller in a trade, get something back in return, and take Membou and flip him over to the left side.

Even if Miller receives the long-term extension that he's looking for, the Raiders should consider taking Membou to be their starting right tackle over D.J. Glaze, who earned a 66.1 overall grade (51st out of 140 offensive tackles) in 998 snaps in 2024.
