Colorado Buffaloes football coach Deion Sanders is closely watching his sons, Shilo and Shedeur, in the NFL. While the latter is now on a Browns QB depth chart, one that’s at least four bodies deep, and is at risk of being cut this offseason, the former is joining a Buccaneers roster that’s hurting for talent after being injury-plagued last year.

Both are reportedly set to receive a “fair shot” with the threat of a public “Prime Time” lashing in response to the contrary, per Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio.

“Any team that gives Shilo a shot needs to be ready for it to be a fair shot, because Deion has the public profile to call out anyone who doesn’t, in Deion’s view, give either Shilo or Shedeur a fair shot,” Florio wrote.

Tampa Bay head coach Todd Bowles shared his vision for Shilo while speaking to reporters on Monday.

“I think he’s a good football player,” Bowles said on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “He’s a heck of a tackler and he knows the game very well — he can see the game very well.

“Giving him a chance to play, we think he has a shot to help us from a safety standpoint and from a special teams standpoint. So I’m excited to get him in here and see how he moves. I saw him tackle all year. I saw him make plays. He’s a very smart player and he understands the game very well. So we thought it was worth a shot to see what he can do and I think he’ll show himself well.”

Coach Prime was reportedly “fired” as his son’s agent after being assigned blame for Shedeur’s draft night slide.

He’ll never be out of the picture for Shedeur and Shilo, though. And that sounds beneficial for the ex-Buffs quarterback and safety.
