New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is reportedly rested from the bye week and ready to go for the stretch run.
It's been speculated that Rodgers was playing with an injury that may have been worse than the average wear and tear that affects quarterbacks over the course of a season.
"He's better off today than he's been as of late, so he's definitely feeling healthier than he has for probably the past month and a healthy Aaron Rodgers is the Aaron Rodgers we all love, so, excited about what that looks like," said interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich on Monday as the organization's attention turns to the Seattle Seahawks, who visit MetLife Stadium on December 1.
While Rodgers, who turns 41 years old in December, has not missed a snap this season, he has spent time on the injury report due to ankle, knee and hamstring issues.
Former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason suggested that Rodgers had been playing through a torn hamstring considering the four-time MVP's visible lack of mobility.
While The Athletic's recent report floated the idea of Rodgers potentially being benched or released in the coming weeks, Ulbrich reaffirmed the future Hall-of-Famer's QB1 status.

"Absolutely," said Ulbrich on whether Rodgers was preparing to start against Seattle in Week 13 while also denying any talk of shutting down the quarterback.
When it comes to QB1 or any other positions for that matter, Ulbrich is riding with the pieces that have been in place.
"As of today, I do not foresee any changes, besides the one that might be regarding an injury here or there, but nothing as of today," said Ulbrich.
