North Carolina believed they were making the right decision when they hired legendary NFL head coach Bill Belichick. After all, Belichick played a key role in building one of the greatest dynasties in football history. However, during those incredible playoff runs and Super Bowl victories, he never had a 24-year-old girlfriend trying to control his every move.
Belichick was brought to Chapel Hill to elevate the Tar Heels football program, but over the past week, his presence has become a source of controversy. While the issues don’t stem directly from him, Jordan Hudson has quickly become a problem tied to his name. The situation has reportedly escalated to the point where North Carolina may present Belichick with an ultimatum: continue coaching the team, or continue his relationship with her.
This all follows an interview over the weekend where Belichick was repeatedly interrupted by Hudson chiming in from the side.
“Hudson was allegedly picky the entire interview, thus criticizing every little detail, which included her almost scrapping the conversation from existence after she would 'correct' Belichick every chance she could,” Zain Bando wrote.
Back in February, it was announced that Hard Knocks would feature Belichick and the Tar Heels in the upcoming offseason. However, the plans fell through. It has since come to light that Hudson played a major role in that decision.
“Jordon Hudson, Belichick’s girlfriend, played an instrumental role in stopping the production, related to her request to be heavily involved in the project, according to multiple industry sources briefed on the negotiations. The sources spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly. In a December 2024 email to North Carolina officials, Hudson, 24, identified herself as the chief operating officer of Belichick Productions,” Dov Kleiman posted.

It’s becoming increasingly clear that Hudson has taken over nearly every aspect of Belichick’s professional life. If this continues, it could soon reach a breaking point.
