The 2025 Met Gala has arrived, and the athletes (and their companions) are stepping out on the red carpet in style. Taking place at its usual location, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the 2025 theme is "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," with an accompanying dress code of 

"Tailored for You," which honors and explores the history of Black dandism. Needless to say, the sports world definitely brought their A-game to the Met Carpet this year. Here's a look at some of the best looks from the evening.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union

Dwyane Wade and wife Gabrielle Union wore Tiffany jewelry on the Met Gala red carpet, with Union wearing a strapless black gown that had a long white train complete with flowers, and Wade wearing an off-white blazer overtop a floral vest, which he paired with a black satin tie and matching trousers.

Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton showcased a cream-colored suit and matching beret from Wales Bonner, accessorizing his look with gold rings that featured gemstones.

Venus Williams

Venus Williams blended sporty and couture with a green minidress from Lacoste, which featured a pleated miniskirt that turned into a maxi skirt.

Simone Biles
