Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers received a warm welcome while supporting the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday night.

The Cavs, who are currently on a short break as they await to begin their second round series against the Indiana Pacers, got lots of cheers as they waved to crowd upon their arrival. Aside from Mitchell, other members of the squad such as Ty Jerome, Max Strus and Sam Merrill were present to show their support as well, with the Guardians defeating the Minnesota Twins.

Aside from taking in an enjoyable game, Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan was present to pull out the sword before Game 2 of their first round series against the Miami Heat. Afterwards, Mitchell was asked about seeing the event in real time, to which he said he loved and appreciated the support.

"I loved it," Mitchell said after Game 2. "I saw José [Ramírez] behind the bench. I told him I was just trying to be like him. ... Obviously, you know my passion for baseball. Greg Newsome and Denzel Ward were over there as well. Like, it’s great to see. I think that’s one of the things I love about being here. It’s not just us. Everybody supports everybody. I think it’s a special place and it’s a special group, obviously within the athletes as well."

Well, there will definitely be more supportive appearances in the future, as the Cavs begin their series against the Pacers on May 1.
