Woj bombs will never not be awesome.

Since taking his talents to his alma mater, St. Bonaventure, Adrian Wojnarowski has done everything in his power to get his Bonnies back to relevance and prominence.

Now, that includes dipping into overseas recruiting.

The Bonnies are signing Russian guard Ilia Ermakov, a highly touted prospect to come play in the states.

'Russian guard Ilia Ermakov has committed to St. Bonaventure, agents Alex Karavanen and Niko Filipovich told ESPN,” Insider Alex Karavanen said in a post on X. “Ermakov, a 6'5, 17-year-old point guard, is considered the top young prospect in Russia, drawing significant interest across the high-major spectrum.”

Thus far in 2025, Ermakov has averaged 12.6 points per game for CSKA Moscow's secondary team this season in Russian Basketball Super League 1.

Wojnarowski, often just called “Woj,” made his name in sports circles as the top NBA insider for ESPN, famous for breaking news about trades, signings, and draft picks—aka the iconic “Woj Bombs.”

Now, his impact has made its way down to college, where Wojnarowski has been tasked as the General Manager of St Bonaventure.

St. Bonaventure is located in St Bonaventure, New York. The school's team currently competes in the Atlantic 10 Conference and is a private Franciscan university.

Wojnarowski’s title has changed quite a bit from his NBA insider days, but now he’s trying his best to get St. Bonaventure back to prominence.
