Bill Belichick kept it cool and quiet during a glitzy New York City date night with girlfriend Jordon Hudson, brushing off questions about his now-viral CBS interview with the same stoicism he once reserved for Super Bowl pressers.

The couple strolled to their waiting car on Monday night without responding to any of the paparazzi’s questions, according to TMZ Sports — though Hudson offered a quick smile, leaving photographers with a shot if not a soundbite.

During his now-infamous chat with Tony Dokoupil on "CBS Sunday Morning" to promote his new book, "The Art of Winning," Belichick, 73, was asked how he and Hudson, 24, met. But before he could respond, Hudson interjected, telling Dokoupil, “We’re not talking about this.”

“It’s a topic neither one of them is comfortable commenting on,” Belichick added.

The outlet also reported that during the interview, Hudson "stormed out of the room" at one point, causing a half-hour shooting delay.

While Belichick has remained quiet since the incident, in a post to Instagram Tuesday, Hudson shared an email written by Belichick on April 10 about the release of his book, captioning it, "Full statement to be released later today."

Speaking about the interviews and appearances he would be expected to give in order to promote his book, in the email, Belichick wrote, they “will, no doubt, want to focus on whatever negatives they can extract from the book and all the current events that don't have anything to do with the book but are the most relevant to their ratings and their agenda,” and adding, “I am not going to be the conductor of a hype train in the book promotion. We have enough hype to work with.”
