Shedeur Sanders gets dire warning about Browns from former Titans defensive back image

The well-documented fall of Colorado product Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL draft finally ended when the Cleveland Browns selected him in the fifth round.

While it was no doubt a relief for Sanders, landing with the Browns isn't exactly ideal. After all, few, if any franchises in the NFL have had the kind of lackluster history the Browns have had at quarterback.

Making matters worse for Sanders, the Browns have five different quarterbacks on their roster currently, although it's really four because Deshaun Watson is expected to miss the entire 2025 campaign. Cleveland traded for Kenny Pickett, signed Joe Flacco and drafted Dillon Gabriel in the third round.

In a recent episode of his Politely Raw! podcast, former Tennessee Titans defensive back Adam "Pacman" Jones urged Sanders to find a way out of Cleveland because of the crowded situation the team has under center.

"If I’m [Shedeur Sanders’] f****** agent, we are trying to figure out if we can go anywhere besides here. Let’s get the f*** out of here," Jones said.

"He’s a f****** fifth-round pick! You got five m************ quarterbacks!" Jones added. "Andrew Berry, shove it up your a**... F*** that, I don’t think he should be there."

Tell us how you really feel, Pacman!

That said, it's true that Sanders landing in Cleveland isn't ideal. On top of having to compete with a quarterback who was drafted before him, Sanders must find a way to make the roster over one of the two aforementioned veterans.

Seeing as how he's just a fifth-round pick, the rope may not be long for Sanders and it's a realistic possibility that he doesn't make it out of training camp with the team.

However, that will all depend upon how much Sanders shows. If he can show enough promise, the Browns will gladly keep him over Pickett, although we wouldn't imagine Flacco getting cut barring an epic offseason decline.
