The Dallas Cowboys have a long offseason ahead of them and certainly need to make some changes.

After failing to make the playoffs in 2024, the Cowboys clearly have work to do. Dallas likely will look to bring in some talent this offseason, but there are some cap issues facing the team. The Cowboys could end up losing some key pieces as well in response.

Here are three players who could have played their final game with Dallas.

Trey Lance - Quarterback
This one seems like the most obvious. Lance barely saw any time with the Cowboys and it wouldn't be a shock to see another team give him a chance. Lance is just 24 years old and was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 National Football League Draft. Some team will take a chance on him and Dallas likely won't be it.

DeMarcus Lawrence - Defensive End
Lawrence has spent his entire 11-year career with the Cowboys. He will be a free agent this offseason, though, and it wouldn't be too big of a shock to see the Cowboys let him go. He will be expensive and the Cowboys are dealing with some cap issues and still have to find a way to keep Micah Parsons around.

Brandin Cooks - Wide Receiver
Cooks is a solid receiver, but the Cowboys need to find a way to add more firepower to the offense. It would be nice to keep Cooks, but if the Cowboys want to bring in another piece, they may not want to pay what it would cost to keep Cooks.
