The Miami Dolphins have had a busy offseason thus far.

In free agency, the team added quality depth pieces like offensive lineman James Daniels, safety Ifeatu Melifonwu, and wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, among others.

Then, in the 2025 NFL Draft, the team added Kenneth Grant in the first round, who should be an immediate starter and provide much-needed toughness on the defensive interior.

In the second round, the team then added talented offensive lineman Jonah Savaiinaea, who should strengthen the Dolphins' poor offensive line.

However, any additions the team has made have been overshadowed by a couple of prominent trade rumors. First, star wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been the subject of trade speculation, and then, general manager Chris Grier shockingly admitted that the team is trying to trade star cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

The Dolphins already need help in the secondary, and moving on from Ramsey would make the unit that much weaker. However, the veteran is expensive and the team could be looking to get younger.

If Ramsey is traded, NFL.com's Nick Shook thinks the Baltimore Ravens could be a logical landing spot. Regarding Ramsey's fit in Baltimore, Shook offered the following:

"After injuries ravaged its secondary in 2023, Baltimore has routinely attempted to add depth to the group over the last two offseasons," Shook wrote. "Last year, the Ravens drafted Nate Wiggins near the end of the first round.

"This year, they added Chidobe Awuzie in free agency and drafted Robert Longerbeam in the sixth round. Although Baltimore's CB room might seem crowded, if there's any team that consistently kicks the tires on known veterans looking to chase a ring, it's the Ravens. The financial side might not work out, but adding Ramsey would fit with the franchise's tendency to welcome in proven players who have the chance to make an instant impact -- and further strengthen a roster that is already expected to contend for a title."

As Shook mentioned, a contending team like the Ravens would likely love to add another talented veteran like Ramsey to an already loaded roster.

In 2024, Ramsey played in all 17 games and collected 60 tackles, six tackles for loss, two interceptions, and 11 pass deflections. Ramsey earned a solid 76.9 Pro Football Focus grade, which ranked 16th out of 222 qualified cornerbacks.

In Baltimore, Ramsey could fit in nicely on the boundary opposite Nate Wiggins, who impressed as a rookie in 2024. A starting corner trio of Wiggins, Ramsey, and Marlon Humphrey could be deadly and help the Ravens achieve their ultimate goal of another Super Bowl win.

Ramsey is currently slated to carry a cap hit of over $16 million in 2025. This could make a trade hard for the Ravens, as Over the Cap has the team with just around $11 million in cap space.
