The Cleveland Browns finally ended Shedeur Sanders' stunning NFL Draft slide by selecting him in the fifth round. Sanders, who was once viewed as a sure-fire first-round pick, ended up being selected at No. 144 overall even though the Browns had selected Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel earlier in the draft.

Sanders falling that far was shocking to everybody, especially with QB-needy teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers and Browns passing on the Colorado signal-caller multiple times.

Yet, the Browns did take him after a long time as he joins a surprisingly-crowded QB room with Deshaun Watson, Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco and Gabriel.

Well, Sanders got some advice from an unlikely source as the Kentucky Fried Chicken X account responded to him.

"The Colonel was rejected 1,009 times before finally landing our famous original recipe. Sometimes all a Sanders needs is a little time to cook. Congrats Shedeur!!"

Well, who had KFC giving Sanders advice on their bingo card?

Now, Sanders begins his NFL journey, although his path to playing time - yet alone a roster spot - is a big question with the Browns series of quarterbacks.
