Nico Harrison’s decision to move on from Luka Doncic just keeps getting worse and worse.
In a recent interview with Malika Andrews, Doncic said that he thought the news of him getting traded was an April Fools' joke, among other noteworthy things.
Doncic certainly didn’t keep his feelings towards his former team’s head of basketball operations Nico Harrison secret.
"It's just sad the way he's talking right now," Doncic said of Harrison during a sit-down interview with ESPN's Malika Andrews that aired Friday. "I never say anything bad about him, and I just want to move on. The fans, my ex-teammates, I'll always keep at heart. It's time for me to move on from there."
Doncic also added that he has not spoken to Harrison since the trade.
"I mean it's painful, depending on how you take it," Doncic said. "It mostly came from Dallas, so I didn't want to talk back. But I don't really read that much stuff. I'm just trying to focus on my journey."
Doncic scored 45 points in his return to Dallas, ushering in cheers and “fire Nico” chants from Mavs fans in attendance.

In a significant contrast, the Lakers recently extended their GM, Rob Pelinka, who was the beneficiary of Harrison’s shocking decision.
"For eight seasons, I have relied on Rob's vision and leadership to do what's best for the Lakers organization," Lakers governor Jeanie Buss said in an official release. "I value his partnership and professionalism and believe in his ability to deliver championship-caliber basketball for Los Angeles and Lakers fans everywhere."
