Drag racing fans, get ready for a trip to Maryland International Raceway. One of the year's most anticipated events is finally here.

The 2024 edition of the World Cup Finals Import vs. Domestic will be held this weekend, featuring more than 300 heads-up cars from around the world chasing down drag racing records. Drivers will compete for championship glory in front of thousands of fans — not to mention a piece of the $240,000 cash purse.

This year, the race format has been tweaked in order to set up an exciting final day of action. Eliminations for 32-car fields will be held on Saturday night, narrowing the fields to 16 cars on Sunday.
