Barely 48 hours after the dust settled at Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the World Tour peloton is already packing its bags for Romandie, where one of the grittier week-long tests on the calendar awaits.
The Tour de Romandie, the final cycling stage race in spring, will take place around the French-speaking region of Switzerland from Tuesday, April 29 to Sunday, May 4.
In 2025, the buzz has mostly shifted to high-altitude training camps, but make no mistake — with big names like Remco Evenepoel and Joao Almeida on the roster, there’s still plenty of firepower in town. The Giro d’Italia hopefuls, however, are steering clear, as Romandie’s timing cuts it a little too close for comfort to the Italian Grand Tour.
