The Green Bay Packers could look to add another player to the cornerback room, as the team selected just one corner in the seventh round of the draft and could use some more depth at the position.

The cornerback market in free agency is lackluster, but For the Win's Cory Woodroof predicts Green Bay will sign Cincinnati Bengals free agent defensive back Mike Hilton as a major post-draft acquisition.

"The Packers need some help at cornerback, and Hilton is one of the best slot corners in the NFL at his best. He could join a Green Bay team that would benefit from him merely being in the position room," Woodroof wrote.

Hilton struggled in 2024, as the veteran allowed a 78.3% completion rate on 60 targets and a 105.6 passer rating when targeted. The 31-year-old was a liability at times for the Bengals and took a step back after a solid 2023 campaign.

Though Hilton wasn't great last year, and the Packers have already signed a slot corner to a sizeable deal this offseason in Nate Hobbs, they should consider signing the former Bengal if he's willing to take a cheap deal.

Hilton would provide adequate depth in the secondary for Green Bay, and his playoff experience would be a major asset. Additionally, the former undrafted free agent has started 56 games in his eight-year career thus far, so he could step in as a starter on Jeff Hafley's defense if needed.

The Packers are looking to make a Super Bowl run in 2025, and though Hilton isn't a high-level corner, the former Mississippi standout could serve as a valuable depth piece and potential starter.
