Shedeur Sanders is popular.
That much has never really been in question as the young quarterback ascended the ranks from Jackson State to Colorado and now to the Cleveland Browns, albeit with an NFL Draft free fall to pick No. 144 mixed in.
But the NFL's latest numbers show Sanders is even more popular than many would've thought.
Out of all the rookie jerseys being sold by Fanatics, Sanders' is officially the most popular.
Sports business reporter Darren Rovell shared the news on X on Wednesday.
It's safe to say he's by far the most well-known No. 144 pick ever.
Sanders is expected to wear No. 2, the same digit he wore in college, and the one worn by his father Deion at Florida State.

Whether Sanders makes the team or starts as a rookie is all still up in the air.
The Browns have a crowded QB depth chart that also includes Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel.
Sanders will be the most scrutinized of the group no matter what he does. It just comes with the territory of being Shedeur Sanders.
And along the way, there'll be plenty of fans with his name on their back.
