Eight teams remain and the field is set for the 2024 Women's College World Series. Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Oklahoma State, UCLA, Stanford, Duke and Alabama will fight it out in Oklahoma City through double-elimination brackets for a spot in the championship series next week.
The Sooners are eyeing their fourth straight national championship, and Alabama, Oklahoma State and Stanford are in their second consecutive WCWS. Texas is making its second appearance since 2013 and its first as a No. 1 seed.
Duke is making its first WCWS appearance in program history—on the other hand, UCLA is back for its record 36th appearance. Competition is bound to be fierce and there will be no shortage of elite softball coming from Hall of Fame Stadium.
