Justin Jefferson is among our best player prop bets for Vikings vs. Lions on SNF in Week 18.
None

Don’t forget to get your Sunday Night Football prop bets in before Vikings vs. Lions kicks off to conclude Week 18 of the NFL season. The winner clinches the top seed and home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs, a far easier road than wild-card teams must traverse.

The Vikings (14-2) are +2.5 to +3 underdogs against the Lions (also 14-2) at top NFL betting sites. The total sits between 56 and 56.5, the largest over/under of the season, which makes sense considering the numbers Sam Darnold, Jared Goff and their offenses are putting up.

One prop bet that would surely hit is that the loser of this game will be beyond ticked off, as they’ll have to play on the road during Wild Card Weekend, even though they went 14-3.

Best player prop and ATTD scorer bets for Vikings vs. Lions on SNF

There are tons of exciting Vikings vs. Lions player prop bets to consider, but these four in particular stick out as worthy of consideration. Let’s get cooking:

T.J. Hockenson Anytime TD Scorer

This (and many other) player prop bets for Week 18 SNF make sense because when teams play the Lions and Dan Campbell's justifiably aggressive play calling, they have to score TDs at a fast rate to keep up. The Lions are averaging 33.3 points per game in 2024, and the Vikings aren’t going to hang with them by kicking field goals. Look for both Darnold and Goff to sling it early and often. A Hockenson anytime TD scorer prop isn’t the craziest thing we’ve heard of, especially with a healthy amount of goal-line opportunities looming. The payout will be sweeter than if you go with Justin Jefferson or Jordan Addison.

Jameson Williams Anytime TD Scorer

League disciplinary issues are the only thing that can keep this Lions speedster from scoring touchdowns. He has three receiving scores plus a highlight-reel rushing TD over his last three games. The Alabama product has put up an impressive 18.6 YPC and seven receiving touchdowns this season. Luckily, you don’t have to guess if Williams will score via rush or reception to cash this bet. If you’re confident the Lions will pour up a Jameson touchdown, give this Detroit player prop a shot.

Justin Jefferson OVER 91.5 Receiving Yards

If the Vikings are going to steal this game on the road, and along with it the No. 1 seed in the NFC, they need a big contribution from their WR1. Jefferson has notched 1,479 yards and 10 TDs this season. He’s hauled in 100 receptions out of 145 targets and averaged 14.8 YPC. The Lions will do their best to contain Jefferson, but Darnold will likely make this the fourth week in a row with more than 10 targets his way.

Jahmyr Gibbs UNDER 88.5 Rushing Yards

The David Montgomery injury has impacted the Lions offense, and Gibbs has made the most with the additional carries he’s seen. Gibbs rushed for 109 yards in Week 16 against the Bears and 117 in Week 17 while beating the 49ers. However, Gibbs totaled only 74 rushing yards in Week 14 and 15 (Montgomery went down in Week 15 vs. the Bills). It’s hard to say how much rushing will be featured in this SNF shootout in the dome. Do you think the Lions will give Gibbs enough carries to hit 88.5 rushing yards, or might a pass-heavy script limit the output of RBs on both teams?
