The New York City Football Club enjoyed a strong 2024 Major League Soccer season, finishing sixth in the East but losing to the rival Red Bulls in the Eastern Conference semifinals of the MLS Cup Playoffs. The club has turned to a new coach in Pascal Jansen, and fans have a reason to be excited about a strong rebound in the 2025 campaign.
With Birk Risa, Thiago Martins, Justin Haak and a bevy of young talent, NYCFC has plenty of firepower. NYCFC begins its season on the road at Inter Miami, which obviously serves as one of the hottest tickets in the early season thanks to Miami superstar Lionel Messi.
NYC's home opener at Yankee Stadium comes on Saturday, March 8 against Orlando City SC. It then hosts the New England Revolution one week later.
