The WNBA experienced a boom like never before last season, when superstar sharpshooter Caitlin Clark exploded onto the scene after being picked first in Indiana. Now the Dallas Wings get to enjoy the windfall of a No. 1 pick after drafting UConn superstar Paige Bueckers.
The Wings might not be in the midst of basketball country like Indy is, but they certainly enter a new era this season. Bueckers just led the Huskies to a national championship, adding to an incredible college career that garnered a Wooden Award, AP Player of the Year, and three Big East Player of the Year awards and All-America selections.
Long story short, Bueckers is a game-changer — and possibly the future face of the WNBA's Western Conference. The Wings won just nine games out of 40 in 2024 — now they're generating betting buzz on sportsbooks' W championship futures markets. It helps that Dallas acquired 2024 Most Improved Player DiJonai Carrington during the offseason.

Tickets for the Wings' 2025 season are available now on StubHub.
It's safe to say their home-opener against the Lynx is one of the most heavily-anticipated games of the entire WNBA season. Bueckers' WNBA debut is listed by StubHub as "selling fast," but some tickets remain in the $88-$100 range as of mid-April.
The Wings' first meeting with Caitlin Clark and the Fever will be at home on June 27. Tickets for that highly-anticipated battle start at around $75 each, but prices will be rising quickly the closer we get to the season. They also host Indiana on August 1.
Another big seller has been the neutral-court preseason game between Dallas and the Las Vegas Aces at Notre Dame on May 2. Tickets have been flying for that game, but many affordable options as low as $23 each remain thanks to the large capacity of the arena. The Wings and Aces also square off in Vegas on June 13.

Dallas begins its regular season at home against the Lynx on May 16 before heading to Minnesota a week later for its first road trip. The squad wraps up its 2025 run on Sept. 11 against the Mercury in Dallas.
