In the offseason, the Seahawks made a major quarterback decision, trading Geno Smith to the Raiders and replacing him with free agent Sam Darnold. Additionally, Seattle chose to trade star wide receiver DK Metcalf to the Steelers, cementing this offseason as a major pivot in the organization's history.

Now, the Seahawks move forward with a younger quarterback as Mike Macdonald enters his second season as the team's head coach. Last year, Seattle came just a game short of making the playoffs, making this pivot even riskier.

However, the Seahawks' defense remains stout entering the 2025 draft, giving the team a strong foundation despite its uncertainty on the other side of the ball.

Here's a breakdown of all the Seahawks picks during the 2025 draft.

    Seahawks NFL draft needs

    • Wide Receiver: The Seahawks completely remade their wide receiver room this offseason, trading DK Mercalf to the Steelers and releasing veteran Tyler Lockett. While the team added Cooper Kupp to go alongside Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the former Ram is more of a stopgap, so Seattle could add a younger option in the draft.
    • Offensive Line: It feels like every year Seattle needs offensive linemen, and this year is no different. Sam Darnold's play historically goes as the offensive line does, so the Seahawks should add offensive guards to help stalwart tackles Charles Cross and Abe Lucas.
    • Cornerback: Seattle's secondary is headlined by Devon Witherspoon, but it could use another playmaker to go along with him, Josh Jobe'and Riq Woolen. Overall, Seattle needs more offensive help, but adding to the secondary could help the defense make the next step.
