Justin Rose has been golfing professionally for over two decades, making him one of the most recognizable players in the game. The veteran Englishman has put together a stellar career despite failing to win a PGA tour tournament in his first 12 years as a pro. He's now totaled 11 wins in his career.
However, the majors are another level of difficulty, as Rose knows all too well. The veteran has especially had his share of ups and downs at Augusta, showing how difficult it is to win the Masters.
Here's a breakdown of how Rose has performed on golf's biggest stage.

Has Justin Rose won the Masters?
Rose has not yet won the Masters despite playing well on Thursdays throughout his career.
Entering the 2025 tournament, Rose actually had the most 18-hole leads at the Masters of any player who hasn't won in his career. That includes a four-shot lead after Thursday in 2021, a tournament in which Rose finished seventh once Sunday rolled around.
Starting quickly hasn't been Rose's issue at Augusta, as Rose has often found himself at the top of the leaderboard early on. However, it's been a struggle for Rose to translate that early success over four rounds.

Justin Rose best Masters finishes
Rose's best finish at the Masters is as runner-up, which he did twice in his career.
First, the Englishman tied for second with Phil Mickelson in 2015, as Jordan Spieth took home his only green jacket. Rose shot a -14 that week, but he still finished four-back of Spieth in the leaderboard.
Two years later, Rose had his best chance to win the Masters, as he and Sergio Garcia both finished 72 holes at 9-under. That led to a playoff, where Garcia beat Rose on the first extra hole.
