Just like that, the 64-team field is down to two.

Tennessee and Texas A&M will compete in the best-of-three College World Series championship, with Game 1 kickstarting the series on Saturday night. The action in Omaha, Neb., has yet to disappoint, as the first three games of the CWS each ended in walk-off fashion.

Now, with only the Volunteers (58-12, No. 1 overall seed) and Aggies (52-13, No. 3 overall seed) remaining, the fireworks seem poised to continue.

Tennessee is hoping to end a 25-year championship drought for No. 1 overall seeds; Miami last accomplished the feat in 1999. And, as a program, the Volunteers have never won a national title. They came closest in 1951, finishing as the runner-up.

Texas A&M, despite its 130-year program history, also has a bare trophy case. The Aggies are set to play for a national championship for the very first time, carrying an eight-game winning streak into the finals.
