A washout in Cincy voided two of our player prop bets yesterday, but we still claimed victory by cashing a plus-money wager on Anthony Santander.
The Reds and Cardinals will play a twin bill today to make up for Tuesday’s rainout, meaning we’ll fire up our Miles Mikolas fade from yesterday.

MLB Player Prop Picks for April 30
Miles Mikolas Under 3.5 Strikeouts (-125 at DraftKings)
Mikolas has been allergic to missing bats this year, fanning three or less hitters in all but one of his five starts. He’s posted 2 Ks or less in three of his past four outings, and is generating a pathetic 6.0% swing and miss rate.
Also working against him is a brutal history against the Cincinnati lineup. Reds batters are slashing .300/.325/.558 versus Mikolas over 77 at-bats, striking out at just a 16.8% mark.
Ryan McMahon Under 0.5 Hits (+110 at DraftKings)
Next up, we’re also fading Colorado’s Ryan McMahon. Simply put, this guy is ice cold.McMahon hasn’t recorded a hit in nine games, and the prospects of success are not high against Atlanta’s Chris Sale this afternoon.
Sale, the reigning NL Cy Young Award winner, is fresh off his best two starts of the season. He’s allowed two runs or less in each outing, fanning 12 batters in 9.1 innings. The 36-year-old is still posting a K/9 rate north of 11 in his 15th MLB season. That’s troubling for McMahon, who strikes out at one of the league’s highest rates. McMahon has fanned in 40 of his 99 at-bats this season, swinging and missing 14.5% of the time.
Alex Verdugo Over 2.5 Hits, Runs, and RBI (+105 at DraftKings)
Sticking in the same game, we’re also targeting the Braves Alex Verdugo over 2.5 hits, runs, and RBI at plus-money odds. Verdugo has been on a tear over the last week, slashing .409/.480/.500, with 9 hits, 4 RBI, and 2 runs scored. He hits in the lead-off spot for Atlanta, so no Braves at-bats projection is higher, and the matchup versus the Rockies couldn’t be better.
Not only will he be hitting in Coors Field, baseball’s most hitter-friendly park, but he’ll also be facing struggling rookie Chase Dollander. The 23-year-old has coughed up 26 hits and 20 runs in only 19 innings of work. Enemy batters are slashing .321/.371/.654 against him, with 8 home runs already. All the Atlanta hitters are in play today, but especially Verdugo.
