Angel Reese debuts new player exclusive Reebok shoe during return to LSU image

Angel Reese returned home to her LSU alma mater on Friday night, and showcased a new player-exclusive colorway Reebok Engine A shoe.

The shoe, which comes designed in purple and white schematics are reportedly inspired by clouds in the sky, while also being a nod to her name (Angel) and team (Sky). The performance basketball shoe has been a bestseller for the brand, becoming something of their flagship basketball shoe. For her Unrivaled debut back in January, the athlete teamed up with collaborator Marvin Baroota, founder of SoLegit Customs, to create a reimagined version of the Engine A silhouette that paid homage to her team Rose Basketball Club.

That shoe featured a dark green design throughout the upper with miniature pink roses scattered throughout, and dark green laces that provided a contrast to both the lighter green shade on the upper and the baby pink roses. The shoes served Reese well, as the Sky notched an 89-62 victory.

Additionally, the basketball star just dropped a new pink-filled collection to commemorate the season beginning. Released on May 1, the capsule includes the Reebok x Angel Shaqnosis, which puts a spin on Shaquille O’Neal's classic silhouette, the Reebok x Angel Premier Road Plus VI, which features a white design in the upper with a mixture of suede overlays and the Reebok x Angel Club C Bulc, which is Reese's take on the popular Club C lifestyle sneaker.

"The second capsule within my Reebok x Angel collection is all about being bold and feminine at the same time," said Reese via statement. "This collection was designed for girls and women to feel fierce, yet girly and stylish every day no matter what they are doing."
