According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, PSG are eyeing up a summer transfer offer for Valencia's Cristhian Mosquera as they prepare for Marquinhos' potential departure.

The 30-year-old Brazilian is under contract in Paris until 2028, but Luis Enrique's captain is reportedly being pursued for a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.

PSG's interest in the promising Mosquera comes amid a defensive rebuild in the French capital following the recent acquisitions Lucas Beraldo and Willian Pacho.

The €30m [$34m]-rated defender has been rock-solid for Valencia this season, contributing to seven clean sheets whilst averaging three clearances and 0.63 shots blocked per 90 minutes.

Competition for Mosquera's signature will be fierce, with AC Milan and Atletico Madrid previously linked to him and PSG's pursuit is calculated as they aim to capitalize on Marquinhos' market value while freeing up salary space for reinvestment.

A potential summer bidding war looms as three European heavyweights chase the 20-year-old with PSG hoping their project and financial muscle can secure their preferred Marquinhos successor.

Alongside the link to Mosquera, PSG have also shown interest in AS Roma’s Ivorian center-back Evan Ndicka ahead of the summer transfer window.

The French club are monitoring the 24-year-old, who has impressed with his consistency in Serie A this season, and sources indicate PSG may move quickly to secure his signature.

AS Roma are reportedly open to letting Ndicka leave but will demand a significant fee if Luis Enrique makes a clear move.

Ndicka is currently valued at around €40m [$45m], but that could drop to €25m [$28m], if they miss out on European qualification.
