When looking at the upcoming slate of Week 15 NFL games, one may notice that a certain matchup sticks out with a lopsided betting line.

That's right: the Baltimore Ravens, who play on the road against the New York Giants on Sunday, are favored by 15 points.

Not only is this the largest opening spread of the 2024 season, but the Giants' 15-point home underdog status is the largest any team has faced since 1966.

The Giants, who are on their third quarterback of the season after Daniel Jones was released and Tommy DeVito was injured, are 2-11 and riding an eight-game losing streak. Drew Lock is now behind center in New York -- that is, if he is available to play on Sunday.

Suffice to say, this is a lost season for the Giants. They have already been eliminated from the playoffs and have nothing to play for except pride. Baltimore should be able to roll over them without much of an issue.

Granted, the Ravens (8-5) have dropped a few inexplicable losses this season, namely in Week 2 to the now 2-11 Las Vegas Raiders and in Week 8 to the 3-10 Cleveland Browns. They cannot take any opponent lightly, especially given that they have ground to make up against the 10-3 Pittsburgh Steelers in the race for the AFC North title.

Baltimore should take it as a sign of respect that they've earned such a massive advantage over the Giants. Now the Ravens will need to back it up on the field.
