David Beckham turns 50 on May 2, and his wife of 25 years, Victoria Beckham, marked the milestone in the most sentimental and stylish way possible.
On Thursday, Victoria posted a touching video montage in honor of the soccer legend’s birthday, set to the Bee Gees’ classic “Love You Inside Out.” The clip opens with an adorable throwback of their daughter Harper, now 13, cooing as a baby, “There’s only one David Beckham,” while clutching a bottle.
From there, the video rolls through snapshots of David’s life: his early days on the pitch, award-winning moments in his storied soccer career and tender scenes of him laughing, dancing and enjoying life with his family, capturing not just the global icon’s public triumphs but his deeply personal side as a devoted father and partner.
“When I look at this video, I think, ‘Wow… how lucky am I!!’” she wrote.
“You’re everything I could have dreamed of and more. Happy 50th @davidbeckham!!! I love you and our beautiful family endlessly. You complete me xxx”
The night before, she shared another sweet moment with a video of the couple dancing to “Islands In the Stream” by Dolly Parton and the late Kenny Rogers, a callback to their viral slow-dance scene from the 2023 “Beckham” Netflix documentary.
Victoria captioned the tribute, “Happy birthday eve @davidbeckham… my everything ❤️ My best friend, soul mate and dance partner for life🕺 💃 ✨ Like the song says: ‘We start and end as one, In love forever, We can ride it together, ah ha.’ I love you xxxxxxxxxx”
