The Boston Celtics’ main superstar Jayson Tatum has been having an ongoing beef with former NBA player Brandon Jennings for a while now, and it seems more people are weighing and picking sides. The most recent being multi-time All-Defensive player Patrick Beverly, who thinks Jennings is totally in the wrong.
“Just because he’s not yelling and you can see his tattoos, don’t mean he’s soft. He’s skilled, he’s talented, he has a ton of size, he’s won a championship…No, I’m not rolling with that. That’s a bad take. He doesn’t look like the normal tough guy, doesn’t mean that he’s not tough. He gets it done. When I guarded Brandon Jennings, I’m like, ‘yeah, soft a**’”.
This season, Tatum has been a beast for his team. He’s averaging 28 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and one steal per game. He’s also shooting well, with 46% of his field goals falling, along with 36% of his threes.
Hopefully, this slander of Tatum ends soon, and people start to put respect on his name, for being the superstar he’s always been.
