Washington Commanders fans have always known Terry McLaurin can be special with productive quarterback play.
He has it this year, and it showed once again in Sunday's 20-19 win over the New Orleans Saints.

The above play was one of two McLaurin touchdown catches on the afternoon, bringing him to 11 on the season (including five in his past three games). He's scored more times than any wide receiver in the NFL in 2024 not named Ja'Marr Chase.
On that particular catch, Daniels was able to escape pressure to extend the play, and McLaurin contorted his body between two defenders to make the leaping grab.
Out of the 17 passing touchdowns that Daniels has thrown this season, 11 of them have gone to McLaurin. His previous season-high in touchdown receptions was seven, back in his rookie year of 2019.
McLaurin should be well on his way to his second-career Pro Bowl appearance, which feels like a number that should be higher. He has been one of the league's most underrated stars throughout his career, but that is the case no longer. Scary Terry is elite, and the rest of the NFL now knows it.
