Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Madeline Salter proved that she’s a Texas girl even in the off-season, donning tall cowboy boots and a western belt to go out with her friends.

The blonde athlete flashed a toned dancer’s leg via a sky-high slit and bared her toned abs in a tiny crop top in a photo she posted to Instagram on April 26. The script on her T-shirt? “America’s Sweetheart,” an homage to both her DCC squad’s nickname and the 2024 smash hit Netflix series — America's Sweethearts — on which Salter appears.

“Boots on, heart open, & Charli blasting,” she captioned her social media share, which featured Charli’s hit song “Apple.” Salter’s carousel post featured several group shots of the dancer and her friends — 12 in one picture. In one foursome shot, the women held pompoms.

Salter is originally from Round Rock, Texas — just north of Austin — and has been a lifelong Cowboys fan. The Oklahoma City University grad (while there she danced with the American Spirit Dance Company and the university’s OCU Pep Dancers) is a fourth-year DCC veteran and also a dance instructor. She began dancing at just 6 years old and started competing at 12.

“I cannot live without a daily phone call to my mom,” says the cheerleader in her official team bio. “We call each other every day to talk about our day or what is going on in each other’s life!”
