Chris Eubank is set to earn £10 million against Conor Benn

Chris Eubank Jr has made good on his promise to pay all the undercard boxers whose fights were cancelled just two days before, back in October 2022.

Eubank and Benn were due to fight on October 8, 2022, in London, but the entire event was cancelled on October 6, leaving all the combatants out of pocket, which the Brighton boxer has now generously made amends for.

The Brighton boxer shared a screenshot of his bank account which clearly displayed 10 separate transactions of £3571.43 to the following boxers:

Felix Cash
Harlem Eubank
Connor Coyle
Matty Harris
Mary Romero
Chloe Watson
Shannon Courtenay
Galal Yafai
Ellie Scotney
Lyndon Arthur

The 35-year-old two-weight IBO world champion commented, "From my purse for this fight I will be giving £50,000 to the fighters on that undercard to split between them to cover some of their losses.

"I'm not doing this for awards. I hope Eddie and Conor both put up theirs own £50,000."

Unified super-bantamweight champion Ellie Scotney confirmed the news, "Just checked my Eu-BANK statement and Chris was as good as his word. Thank you."

Former IBO world light-heavyweight champion, Lyndon Arthur, also gave thanks, "Got to respect Eubank Jr. He actually paid what he said he would."

Eubank Jr is preparing to finally fight his 'Born Rival' Conor Benn on April 26 at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London, live on Sky Sports Box Office and DAZN PPV.

The next generation will reignite the family feud that first begun with their warring fathers in the 1990s.

However, the iconic enemies will not be meeting up at their sons' fight, as Chris Eubank Sr has publicly condemned the contest, even calling his first-born and namesake "a disgrace".

Eubank smashed a raw egg on Benn's face when they came head to head to launch the fight at a press conference in February, which he was later fined £100k for by the BBBofC.

His world champion father was disgusted by his son's actions and also fears for his safety, having been knocked out at middleweight in a recent fight with Liam Smith in 2023. He won his next two fights at middleweight, but there's a rehydration clause of up 170lbs which could weaken Junior.

The pair were not seeing eye to eye anyway and their rift has widened further than ever in the run-up to this fight.

Nigel Benn will be in his son's corner, but Senior has adamantly stated that he will not be supporting Junior in this fight.
