According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Chelsea are reportedly eager to seal a transfer deal for Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo as they look to strengthen their defence this summer.
The Uruguay international has had a solid season in defence for Barcelona, and his performances have drawn interest from the likes of Bayern Munich and Juventus, who are targeting him in a deal worth around €65m.

The defender is believed to have a release clause worth €65m in July, which has alerted Chelsea, Bayern and Juventus.
The Stamford Bridge side is on a mission to strengthen its defence in the summer and see Araujo as a possible signing. Though they have been heavily linked with Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth, Araujo could also be an alternative to the Spanish international.
