Paris Saint-Germain bagged a 1-0 win against Arsenal in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final at the Emirates Stadium on April 29.

The Parisians were effective in action from the beginning, with Ousmane Dembele scoring the first and only goal of the clash from an assist by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the first four minutes.

Despite having time on their hands and five shots on target, Arsenal's only chance of an equalizer came with Mikel Merino's strike in the 47th minute. However, the Spaniard was caught offside, and the goal was overruled by VAR.

While the French club's trip to the Emirates was a success, PSG are taking some bad news back with them. The only goalscorer of the match had to leave the pitch after facing some injury issues and was replaced by Bradley Barcola in the 70th minute.

Speaking after the match, PSG head coach Luis Enrique provided an update on Dembele's situation.

What did Luis Enrique say about Ousmane Dembele's injury against Arsenal?

During the post-match press conference, Enrique addressed (comments via The Mirror) Dembele's knock and mentioned that the Frenchman needs to undergo tests to know the extent of the injury. The Spanish manager did not rule out the possibility of the 27-year-old being sidelined for the second-leg tie but maintained confidence in his squad.

"He'll undergo tests tomorrow. It's not serious, it's something very minor, but he's probably a doubt for the second leg. We're going to try to get Dembele back on the pitch. But we're a real team. If Ousmane can play, that's better. But if he doesn't, we'll still be a real team. We've been saying that since the start of the season," said Enrique.

PSG are indeed in an impressive form this season, having already won the Ligue 1. However, the Parisians fans would hope to have Dembele back on the pitch for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final, given his consistent contributions in the ongoing campaign.

Dembele has netted 33 goals and provided 12 assists in 45 appearances across competitions for PSG this season. They are set to face Arsenal in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final on May 7 at Parc des Princes.
