Austin Ekeler has been around the NFL a long time.

Lately, there's another Ekeler trying to break through into the NFL picture, his younger brother, Wyatt.

Wyatt played his college football at the University of Wyoming.

And late Wednesday, it was reported that Ekeler has been invited to rookie minicamp for two NFL teams, the Eagles and the Broncos.

Wyatt played five years at Wyoming.

In 2024, he had one interception, one tackle for loss and 46 total tackles.

The year before, he had two picks and six tackles for loss.

It's always a steep climb uphill for an undrafted rookie who gets one of these minicamp invites.

That won't be an exception for Wyatt Ekeler, although his last name can't hurt him in NFL circles, either.

Now it's up to him to try and make the unusual non-roster invitee-to-NFL roster pipeline a reality.

He'll at least have a strong mentor in his older brother to lean on.
