Jalen Brunson injury update

In the third quarter of Sunday's game, Brunson left with an apparent ankle injury after he and Dennis Schröder got tied up going for a loose ball. Brunson remained on the floor for some time, sitting next to the scorer's table in pain.

He went back to the locker room, then returned to the game in the fourth quarter to lead the Knicks to a win. Despite having an ankle injury history, Brunson appeared to be able to play at a high level through it on Sunday.

All indications are that Brunson is good to go despite the injury scare. Head coach Tom Thibodeau joked postgame that Brunson "changed his shoes" when he went back to the locker room.
