Caitlin Clark won't be on the floor Saturday.

University of Iowa fans of Clark are hoping she can be back Sunday for the Fever's exhibition game at Iowa against the Brazilian National Team.

But the WNBA star is missing from the lineup for the Fever's Saturday exhibition matchup with the Washington Mystics.

The Fever announced Clark as out just before game time with a left leg injury.

Clark spoke with reporters before the game, sharing that she's dealing with "just a little tightness."

The plan was, "I'll go through all our warmups and everything — and then they'll decide if I'm good to go or not.”

“It will be the medical team’s decision,” she added.

Apparently, things weren't quite good enough for Clark to suit up.

Clearly, the Fever may want to be sure Clark is available for her Iowa homecoming.

Even if she's not, the regular season is still a couple weeks away.

Indiana needs to prioritize Clark's health, and the Fever are likely just being extra cautious on Saturday.
