The Indiana Pacers advanced to the second round of the NBA Playoffs with a 4-1 series win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Tyrese Haliburton's overtime game-winner in Game 5 gave the Pacers the win.

However, things got heated after the game between Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and Haliburton's father, John.

It was a heated exchange between the two in what began some shoving and screaming as tensions boiled over.

After the game, Tyrese Haliburton spoke about his father's actions: "I'll talk with Giannis eventually about it, I don't think my pops was in the right at all there. Unfortunate what happened there."

Shortly after, John Haliburton issued an apology to the Bucks, Giannis and others on X.

"I sincerely apologize to Giannis, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Pacers organization for my actions following tonight's game. This was not a good reflection on our sport or my son and I will not make that mistake again."

Giannis said that John Haliburton was shouting some expletive-filled comments that he found "very, very disrespectful."

Still, it was quite the scene as the Pacers advanced in thrilling fashion and the Bucks season came to a sour ending.
