Browns replace Shedeur Sanders in shocking QB trade idea image

There are many out there wondering whether the Cleveland Browns have really solved their quarterback problem.

They've got Joe Flacco, and Kenny Pickett, and Dillon Gabriel, and Shedeur Sanders. One of those guys (and probably more than one) will start in 2025.

But for 2026, analysts think the Browns may go back to the quarterback well near the top of the draft. They've got both their own and Jacksonville's 2026 first-round picks.

ESPN's Jordan Reid released a 2026 draft projected top-10, and he predicts the Browns to trade into the No. 1 overall pick. Reid has the Titans lined up to have the NFL's worst record, but they wouldn't need a QB after taking Cam Ward this year.

There, he has them taking Cade Klubnik, the Clemson QB (Reid doesn't predict Arch Manning to enter next year's draft).

"Klubnik maintains a strong platform while going through his reads and is consistent no matter the defensive structure," Reid wrote. "He also has the mobility to escape pressure, but he has B-level arm strength, so it will be important for him to show that he can throw into tight windows this season. His game reminds me a lot of Bo Nix."

If the Browns keep Sanders and Gabriel around through this season, they'd be looking at an incredibly young QB room next season.

But it's the NFL, and it's quarterback, and you have to keep trying to find the answer until you actually find it.

Maybe Klubnik will go from Clemson orange to Browns orange.
