Ohio State players drafted in 2025 NFL Draft
Here is a look at the Ohio State players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft:
- Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 19)
Egbuka is the fifth Ohio State receiver to be drafted in the first round in the last four years. Egbuka had 81 catches for 1,011 yards and 10 TDs as a senior. He is a fantastic route runner who is the program's all-time leader in receptions and adds another reliable target for Baker Mayfield.
- Donovan Jackson, G, Minnesota Vikings (No. 24)
Jackson, a first-team SN All-American, has the ability to play either guard or tackle at a high level and adds depth to the Vikings' offensive line. He is a solid first-round pick.
- Tyleik Williams, Detroit Lions (No. 28)
Williams battled through injuries as a senior, but he totaled 99 tackles and 5.5 sacks the last two seasons and the bet interior defender for the Buckeyes. That will help improve Detroit's run defense that slipped toward the end of last season.
- Josh Simmons, T, Kansas City Chiefs (No. 32)
Simmons gives the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes II some much-needed help on the offensive line. Simmons allowed just one sack the last two seasons.
- Quinshon Judkins, RB, Cleveland Browns (No. 36)
Judkins rushed for 1,060 yards and 14 TDs for the Buckeyes last season. He is a powerful running back who adds much-needed depth to the Cleveland backfield.
- TreVeyon Henderson, RB, New England Patriots (No. 38)
Henderson rushed for 1,016 yards and 10 TDs for the Buckeyes last season as part of a tag-team with Judkins. Henderson also averaged 7.1 yards per carry. It's a splash pick for first-year coach Mike Vrabel.
- JT Tuimoloau, EDGE, Indianapolis Colts (No. 45)
Tuimoloau had 12.5 sacks and 22 tackles for loss as a powerful edge rusher. He had 6.5 sacks in four College Football Playoff games as a driving force in that national championship run.
- Cody Simon, LB, Arizona Cardinals (No. 115)
Simon will get his chance to shine for a defensive-minded coach in Arizona. He had 112 tackles and 13 tackles for loss last season, and the Cardinals were willing to reach up for this pick.
- Lathan Ransom, S, Carolina Panthers (No. 122)
Ransom has the type of ball skills that will play well for a team that needs helps in their secondary. He had 76 tackles and nine tackles for loss for the Buckeyes last season.
- Jack Sawyer, LB, Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 123)
Sawyer gives the Steelers a lead-by-example player. He had nine sacks last season. Sawyer will need to develop at the next level, but he is a prototype fit for the Steelers' defense.
- Ty Hamilton, DT, Los Angeles Rams (No. 148)
Hamilton will join his brother Davon in the NFL. Ty Hamilton averaged 45 tackles on the interior the last two seasons at Ohio State.
- Jordan Hancock, CB,, Buffalo Bills (No. 170)
Hancock improved as a cover cornerback last season with eight pass breakups. He fits as a late-round sleeper at a position of need for the Bills.
- Denzel Burke, CB, Arizona Cardinals (No. 174)
Burke's draft status fluctuated the past two seasons, but he will have a chance to work into the Cardinals' secondary rotation as a rookie. Arizona also drafted Michigan cornerback Will Johnson in this class.
- Will Howard, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 185)
Howard's play during the national championship run was spectacular. He had 1,150 yards, eight TDs and two interceptions in those four games. That makes his fall to the sixth round a bit of a surprise. He could compete for a starting job with Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson, if Aaron Rodgers is not part of the plan.
