Knicks All-Star guard Jalen Brunson went down with an apparent lower-body injury during Game 4 of a first-round series with the Pistons.

The injury occurred late in the third quarter as Brunson attempted to bring the ball up the court. As Detroit guard Dennis Schröder stole the ball, Brunson's leg appeared to get tangled up with his, and he stayed down on the floor in apparent pain.

Jalen Brunson injury update

After their legs were tangled, Brunson stayed on the floor and slid backward to the scorer's table. He was unable to put weight on his leg as he was helped to the locker room during a timeout.

At the time of his injury, Brunson had 17 points and nine assists.
